YouTube is alpha testing a new feature that will allow users to create short 5 to 60-second looped clips of videos and live streams that can be easily shared.

The new feature will make it easier to share specific sections of a video to various social media channels and can even be emailed thanks to a unique URL that will be attached to the newly created clip. While it isn't exactly an earth-shattering feature (as there already ways to share a video and have it start at a specific section), this might give teachers and parents a little bit of extra flexibility when dealing with online and in-home learning.

The feature is currently only being tested by a select few creators but we should see its wide release relatively soon.
