Noella Tree + Wreath Lot Raises $2300 for Hospice Simcoe

News release – Downtown Barrie BIA

The Downtown Barrie BIA wants to thank those who supported our partner Hospice Simcoe at the Noella Festival Tree + Wreath Lot this past holiday season.

On Friday, January 21, together with tree lot sponsors Dr. Brad Dibble and Katherine Elphick, the Downtown Barrie BIA presented Hospice Simcoe with $2300.00.

Hospice Simcoe serves our community in remarkable ways. “Hospice palliative care is aimed at relieving suffering and improving the quality of life for persons who are living with, or dying from, advanced illness or are bereaved. This care includes pain and symptom management in conjunction with social, psychological, spiritual and practical support.”

“Thank you to the Downtown Barrie BIA and Dr. Brad Dibble for always including Hospice Simcoe in the Noella Festival Tree + Wreath Lot,” remarked Marilyn Guest, Fund Development Manager for Hospice Simcoe. “We always have so much fun interacting with the community during the event and every dollar raised helps Hospice Simcoe build a strong community.”
