Nottawasaga OPP laid multiple impaired and stunt driving charges on a G1 driver in Essa.
On Sunday morning around 3 a.m., OPP say they were conducting speed enforcement on County Road 10.
"The subject vehicle was travelling at a high rate of speed recorded at 157km/h in an 80km/h zone," OPP stated in a release.
"The vehicle was stopped, and as a result of the investigation, officers arrested the driver for stunt driving and impaired driving."

A 31-year-old Palgrave man faces the following charges:
- Failure or refusal to comply with Demand
- Drive Motor Vehicle - Perform Stunt- excessive speed
- Speeding 50+km/h over limit
- G1 Licence holder unaccompanied by qualified driver
- G1 Licence holder drive at unlawful hour
- Novice driver - B.A.C above zero
- Failure to surrender documents.
He was released with a future court date.
