On the hunt for hand sanitizer? These local companies are here to help you out

We've been in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic for well over two months now, and the demand for hand sanitizer isn't going anywhere. Grocery stores, pharmacies, corner stores - they all seem to be permanently sold out of the hot-ticket item and if they do have it purchases are limited to one bottle per person. A few local businesses have re-tooled to make sanitizer in the wake of Covid-19, so you can stay safe AND support local.

Redline Brewhouse

In addition to ordering beer, you can now order cans of sanitizer from Redline's online store! The 473 ml cans come with resealable lids, and the 70% alcohol sanitizer can be used for surfaces and hands.

Beattie's Distillers

Beattie's Distillers is known for potato vodka, gin and the best darn potato chips in Ontario (in our opinion) but they very quickly pivoted to making sanitizer in the wake of Covid-19. The 80% solution is available in 32oz and 10 oz bottles from their store front in Alliston.

Two Sisters Naturals

Two Sisters Naturals has been creating and selling natural products since 2016. Their hand sanitizer is 60% alcohol and comes in a small spray bottle, perfect to keep in your car or purse.

Georgian Bay Spirit Co.

Georgian Bay Spirit Co. is still operating as usual, but they are also making and donating sanitizer to local long term care homes or front line businesses in need.
