Ontario Government offering free program to become a Personal Support Worker

Provide health care in community settings or long-term care facilities.

If you have been sitting on the fence about returning to school but have always thought working as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) would be fulfilling, the Ontario Government is offering a free 6-month program to get you started.

With both full-time and part-time programs, in-class and hybrid delivery options, and qualified teachers with health/science backgrounds, the Personal Support Worker Program makes it easy to receive your PSW certification. Another benefit of the program is that you can also earn up to six secondary school credits, so you can graduate with both your PSW certificate and your Ontario Secondary School Diploma!

Applications are being accepted for the program starting on September 7 so head over to the website for more information and to get started on the next chapter of your career!
