Ontario Is Getting 50 New Cannabis Stores
42 Will Be Distributed Regionally, While 8 Will Be Located On First Nations Reserves
Ontario is now set to get 50 new cannabis stores starting in October.
Both the finance minister and the attorney general have revealed that the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario will be holding another lottery, but this time for 42 retail store authorizations. Additionally, a separate process will authorize another eight stores to be located on First Nations reserves.

The 42 stores selected through the applications will be composed of 13 in Toronto, 6 in the GTA, 11 in the west region, 7 in the east region, and 1 in each of Kenora, North Bay, Sault Ste. Marie, Thunder Bay, and Timmins.
