OMSI is a not-for-profit arts service organization that assists new generations and other independent artists build sustainable careers. They are a support network that helps artists succeed in their creative paths and the No More Starving Artists program is just another way they're stepping up to help.

OMCI collects unsold (but still fresh) food from local retailers and distributes it to those in need in the arts community to both help those in need and to eliminate unnecessary food waste. Food can be picked up on a drop-in basis every Saturday from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm (or by appointment) at 80 Bradford Street in Barrie. Participants can also reserve food that they can pick up on the weekend using a downloadable app found here.
