    • There will be four trains leaving Union Station after midnight on New Year’s Eve
    • The 10:01 p.m. and 10:54 p.m. trains make all stops before ending at Aurora GO.
    • The 12:54 a.m. train departing Union Station will make all stops before arriving at Allandale Waterfront GO at 2:42 a.m.
    • The 2:24 a.m. train departing Union Station will make all stops before arriving at Allandale Waterfront GO at 4:12 a.m.
    • The 3:54 a.m. train departing Union station will make all stops before arriving at Bradford GO at 5:06 a.m. 

CELEBRATIONS

  • Barrie - Downtown Countdown festivities start at 6 p.m. In addition to the musical performances, the celebration will include skating, family activities, roaming buskers, and two fireworks shows – the first following the children’s show and the second at midnight. Free transit service starts at 5 p.m. with Routes 1 and 8 running until 3 a.m. (except the Highway 400 Express Route)
  • Orillia - The New Year’s Eve Bash will run from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Orillia Recreation Centre with activities for all ages, including face painting, crafts, open swim, and a variety of bouncy castles and inflatables. Attendees can enjoy complimentary popcorn and cotton candy and create lasting memories at the photo wall.
  • Bradford - Family First Night takes place on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the BWG Leisure Centre – 471 West Park Ave. The free family-friendly event includes leisure skating, leisure swimming, inflatable obstacle courses in the gymnasium, a toddler area, live musical entertainment, busker shows, a photo booth, a caricature artist, crafts and more!
    Indoor activities will take place from 4:00-6:30pm. Outdoor activities will take place from 6:00-7:00 p.m. with an LED light show and Fire Show. The evening closes with a mini fireworks show at 7:00 p.m.

Place your tree curbside by 7:00 a.m. on the Monday of your garbage collection week. Collection may not occur on your regular garbage day. Remove all decorations, lights, and plastic before setting your tree out. Place the tree in a cleared area at the end of your driveway, not in a snowbank, and ensure it is free from snow and ice.
