(Update) Highway 11 in Huntsville reopens after car and truck collision

Update (3:30 p.m.):

Provincial police say Highway 11 northbound in Huntsville has reopened after a collision between a car and truck earlier today.


Previous Story:

A collision between a car and a truck has resulted in the closure of Highway 11 northbound in Huntsville.

Provincial police say the crash occurred at Highway 60 at about 8 a.m. Wednesday.

The female driver of the car suffered significant injuries, according to police, and was transported to hospital.

Highway 11 northbound is closed at Ravenscliffe Road and traffic is being re-routed through the town towards Highway 60.

The northbound ramps from Muskoka Rd 2 onto Highway 11 northbound are closed.
