OPP cruiser, dump truck collision on Highway 400 in Bradford

An unmarked Ontario Provincial Police cruiser responding to an emergency call was involved in a collision with a dump truck on Highway 400 northbound in Bradford West Gwillimbury.

It happened late Friday morning, and according to OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt, the truck was cut off by another vehicle and collided with the cruiser against the wall.

There were no injuries, and there is no word about any charges being laid.

The two left lanes of Highway 400 just north of County Road 88 remain blocked for clean up and the investigation.
