An OPP cruiser that arrived in response to an overturned vehicle on Highway 11 North near Luigi Road in Gravenhurst was struck by a tractor-trailer.
Bracebridge OPP were dispatched last night around 7:45 p.m. about the report of a vehicle that had flipped on its side.
Shortly after the arrival of police and a tow truck, OPP say a tractor-trailer hit the cruiser and another vehicle.
The officers were not in the cruiser at the time. According to police, only the tow truck operator was struck and suffered minor injuries.
The tractor-trailer driver, a 32-year-old from Winnipeg, was charged with careless driving and failing to move over for an emergency vehicle.

Highway 11 northbound north of North Kahshe Lake Road was closed till early this morning for the collision investigation.
"Bracebridge OPP responds to hundreds of motor vehicle collisions throughout the year and managing those scenes on highways such as Highway 11 and Highway 400 can be complicated and risky," a media officer wrote in a release.
"Those risks are greatly reduced when road users respond by slowing down and providing the space necessary to keep everyone safe."
