Collingwood and Blue Mountains OPP are investigating a homicide in Collingwood after responding to a disturbance on Friday.
Officers say the disturbance occurred around 10:45 p.m. on Matthew Way.
"There is not believed to be a public safety risk, as investigators do not consider this to be a random incident," police stated in a release. "Local residents will continue to see an increased police presence in the area."
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact OPP at 705-445-4321 or 1-888-310-1122.
Police also ask anyone in the area to check, save, and secure any possible video evidence from devices at their homes.
