Ontario Provincial Police are investigating reports of antisemitic materials being distributed in Orillia.

Police say they responded to those reports on Sunday.

As a result, the OPP's Hate/Extremism Unit has been brought in, and an active investigation is now underway.

Police are asking residents to check video surveillance from the evening of Saturday, May 16, to midday Sunday, May 17. Anyone who may have captured suspicious activity or received a package containing antisemitic material is being asked to contact the OPP.
