A suspect is being sought by Huronia West OPP after they say "two victims had been stabbed" earlier this month in Springwater Township.

On Saturday, June 10, around 12:00 a.m., OPP say they responded to a hospital regarding two victims who had stab wounds. Both victims were then airlifted to a Toronto trauma hospital and have since been released.

Officers say the suspect is described as a white male, that is approximately 6 ft tall.

"Police are requesting that anyone who resides in the area of Gill Road and the C[P] rail line crossing in the Township of Springwater, check their video surveillance cameras for footage that may have captured the incident and/or suspect," OPP wrote in a release.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information or surveillance footage regarding this investigation is asked to contact Huronia West OPP Detachment at 705-429-3575 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
