Bracebridge OPP has laid charges against an 18‑year‑old following a “dangerous situation” reported on March 2 at a Gravenhurst gas station.
Police say the incident happened around 6:40 p.m. at the station on Muskoka Road South where three individuals pushed a vehicle up to a gas pump. As one person began dispensing fuel into the vehicle, another ignited the gasoline, sparking what police called a “considerable fire.”
The on‑site attendant acted quickly, shutting off the pump and grabbing a fire extinguisher, preventing further damage or injuries.
