OPP in Orillia seize more than 12K in drugs

Police say the search warrant at a residence was in coordination with a separate traffic stop

Two people are facing multiple drug charges after provincial police executed a search warrant at a residence in Orillia on Thursday.

OPP say the raid was carried out in coordination with a separate traffic stop in the city.

An estimated $12,500 in drugs was seized along with $9,000 in Canadian currency.

According to police, they seized cocaine, crack cocaine, multiple cell phones, and drug packaging.

The suspects are a 34-year-old and a 22-year-old, both from Orillia.
