OPP in Orillia tipped off about alleged drug activity, two people charged

Two people have been charged with drug trafficking and drug possession offences after Ontario Provincial Police responded to a call regarding reports of alleged drug activity taking place at an address in Orillia.

When officers arrived, they arrested five people and continued with their investigation, which wrapped up with charges laid against a 42-year-old Orillia woman and a 37-year-old Oro-Medonte man.

Police say as a result of the investigation, they seized:

  • Fentanyl 5.3 grams
  • Cocaine 22 grams
  • 69 medication tablets
  • Scales, packaging
  • Cellphone
