Police on the ground and in the air as part of a criminal investigation on Barrie Road in Orillia.
A news release issued by Ontario Provincial Police on Wednesday afternoon said there was a search for a wanted male.
The search involved the Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit and the OPP helicopter.
The male's identity is known, police said, but due to the nature of the investigation, they will not be releasing it.
OPP said the male has not been located, and there is no threat to public safety.
