There is nothing like eagle-eyed members of the community.

Ontario Provincial Police say they were alerted about suspicious people and vehicles within the grounds of Six Mile Lake Provincial Park in Georgian Bay Township, east of Honey Harbour.

Police entered the park shortly after 8 p.m. on Monday and located three people along with a van and an attached U-Haul trailer.

An investigation was launched to determine why the individuals were in the park after it had been cleared of campers.

Police said this led to the recovery of a stolen van, trailer, numerous Ontario vehicle licence plates along with break and enter tools.

Two men and a woman from Burlington, Oakville, and Ancaster were charged with several offences including six counts of possession of property obtained by crime.

The accused individuals were released from custody with a future court date.
