OPP seek vehicle after pedestrian struck in Orillia

Police say the pedestrian's injuries are serious but non-life-threatening

A pedestrian suffered serious but not-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Orillia on Thursday night that police say did not stop.

"On August 10, 2023, shortly after 10:30 p.m., Orillia OPP officers were called to Mary Street in the City of Orillia for a Motor Vehicle Collision. A pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle and the vehicle and its driver continued," Orillia OPP said in a news release on Friday.

The vehicle is described as a 2019-2023, grey, Ford Edge Titanium.

Police say the vehicle is expected to have front end damage.
