As a result of the investigation, investigators say they seized cocaine, over $10,000 in Canadian cash, gold worth $12,000, a prohibited pistol-grip crossbow, scales and packaging materials consistent with drug trafficking, a cellular device, and additional offence-related property.

A 49-year-old Tay Township man has been charged with two counts of drug trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, one weapons-related offence, and failure to comply with a probation order.

The accused was released on an undertaking and is to appear in court in August.
