OPP seize drugs with a street value of $20,000

The initial investigation began in April 2021.

OPP say two men from Mississauga have been charged in relation to a drug trafficking investigation in Collingwood, Stayner, and Wasaga Beach. 

Police note the initial investigation into cocaine and fentanyl trafficking began in April 2021.

On Tuesday of this week, police conducted a traffic stop and arrested the suspects without incident.

Officers say they seized a loaded handgun, as well as a large quantity of fentanyl and cocaine – the street value is estimated to be $20,000.

Police say they have charged a 23-year-old with drug and weapons offences, and a 25-year-old is up on trafficking charges.
