Nottawasaga OPP made an arrest and laid charges on Tuesday in connection to a suspicious death investigation in Adjala-Tosorontio.
A 44-year-old man from Adjala-Tosorontio was arrested and charged with second-degree murder in relation to the death of a woman.

Officers were called to a residence on Sparrow Way, in the area of County Road 14 and Concession 8, on Saturday, where a 41-year-old female was pronounced deceased. The identity of the victim has yet to be released to the public.
"Preliminary information suggests this is an isolated incident, with no signs of a broader threat," police said in a news release on Monday. "Police continue to investigate and are actively monitoring the situation."
The investigation remains ongoing and is being conducted by the Nottawasaga OPP Crime Unit under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch. Police are also continuing to appeal to the public for further information.
