
Anyone who was a patient or staff member at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital (OSMH) between April 2025 and March 2026 is being asked to review their credit card statements and report any suspected theft or fraudulent activity to police.
The request comes from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) following the arrest of a 34-year-old Burlington woman in connection with an investigation prompted by several complaints of theft and fraud from patients and staff within the hospital.

Investigators believe there may be additional victims who were patients in various units of OSMH.
The accused has been charged with making a false statement in writing and disobeying a court order.
