Three people have been arrested as OPP investigate the circumstances regarding serious injuries to an individual in Orillia.
Police say they were contacted by County of Simcoe paramedics around 4 a.m. on Saturday that a person suffering from serious injuries had been found outside a residence on Albert Street South.
Officers determined the victim had been assaulted with an edged weapon.
The investigation is ongoing.
OPP believe this an isolated incident and that no elevated risk to the public exists at this time.
