Given their timing, one could liken a series of break and enters in Orillia to "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!"

OPP are investigating the occurrences, which happened at two apartment buildings in the area of Orchard Point Road and Atherley Road, which they say started around December 18 through December 30.

Investigators with Orillia OPP believe an organized group is targeting temporarily unoccupied condo units, with 12 having reportedly been entered.

The investigation is ongoing with assistance from the Forensic Identification Services Unit (IDENT) and the Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU).

Anyone with information is asked to contact Orillia OPP or Crime Stoppers.
