Two Orillia residents face drug and weapons charges

Ontario Provincial Police responded to a disturbance call Thursday evening in Orillia and charged two people with multiple drug and weapons offences.

When officers arrived at the residence, police said two individuals were attempting to leave the property. It's alleged the pair had in their possession drugs including fentanyl and cocaine as well as edged weapons.

Two Orillia residents, aged 26 and 51, were charged.

The younger suspect was also charged with obstruct police.

The accused have a court date on Friday.
