Woman sexually assaulted during home break-in, says Orillia OPP

Police also investigating attempted home break-ins in other parts of the city

A disturbing story from OPP in Orillia.

They’re investigating the alleged sexual assault of a woman by an unknown male who broke into her residence in the early hours of Thursday morning.

On Nov. 24 and 25, and Dec. 1, OPP say officers responded to an unknown male who was attempting to break into a number of homes in the area:

  • Barrie Road and Dallas Street
  • Memorial Avenue and Elmer Park
  • Mississaga Street West and Albert Street North

The suspect is described as a tall, white male in his 20s with light brown hair, wearing a black medical mask or dark-colored ski mask.
