OPP in Orillia got in a struggle with a man they attempted to arrest for breach of recognizance on Peter Street today.
The man allegedly assaulted the officers before fleeing on foot and then climbing onto the roof of a nearby plaza.
Police negotiated with the man who finally decided there was no other way but down.
He was removed from the roof with the assistance of the Orillia Fire Department.
The 30 year old from Orillia is facing a number of charges including several counts of assault police and other offences.
