Provincial police say a man and woman from Barrie have been charged after a reported theft from a business in Orillia.
Orillia OPP were dispatched to the scene on Friday around 7:00 p.m.
Police say two individuals were arrested upon arrival and officers located a prohibited weapon and suspected fentanyl after searching them.
A 41-year-old man has been charged with:
- Possession of property obtained by crime
- Failure to comply with prohibition order
- Possession of a schedule I substance
- Possession of a prohibited device
- Theft under $5,000
While a 37-year-old woman faces the following charges:
- Possession of property obtained by crime
- Failure to comply with undertaking
- Theft under $5,000
