Orillia OPP are searching the Bass Lake area for a missing male boater after he went fishing and "failed to return home at the scheduled time."
Police were contacted around 11:58 a.m. on Friday regarding the missing man.
OPP say they located an abandoned boat in the Bass Lake area.
Shoreline property owners are asked to search their property water line.
The OPP Marine Unit, OPP Aviation Services and Underwater Search and Recovery Unit (USRU) are searching the area.
