Orillia OPP: Driver fails to remain after wooden crate falls from truck, injures motorcyclist

Orillia OPP are asking the public for help identifying a vehicle involved in a fail to remain collision that injured a motorcyclist in Orillia.

On May 12, around 5:30 pm, police responded to a vehicle collision on Highway 11 northbound near West Street, involving a motorcycle striking a wooden crate that fell from a small pick-up truck. 

According to officers, the truck appeared to brake, then continued without stopping to check on the driver of the motorcycle - who was injured after colliding with the crate.  

Police have security footage of the suspect's vehicle.
