Orillia OPP: Man wanted after throwing firecrackers at pedestrians

OPP seeking witnesses to vehicle rollover on Crossland Road

OPP are asking the public for help identifying a man who threw firecrackers at two pedestrians in Orillia on Friday morning.

Officers say the incidents occurred between West St and Front St on Mississaga St East between 10:30 a.m., and 11:00 a.m.

According to police, a man operating an electric scooter ignited the fireworks behind two separate persons as he passed them.  

He is described as white, late 60's, with a grey beard down to his mid-chest. He was wearing a black baseball hat with flames, black sunglasses and a grey sweater. The scooter he was driving was red/orange.
