Police arrested three people on Peter Street in Orillia as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say they began investigating a person in November for allegedly trafficking drugs in the city.
"Utilizing investigative techniques, police were able to observe consistent drug trafficking with this individual," according to a news release from OPP.
Police said they conducted a "takedown" of a vehicle on Wednesday.
Three suspects were taken into custody. During the traffic stop, police said two OPP vehicles received minor damage.
Among the items police said they seized included a loaded handgun, ammunition, fentanyl, cocaine, and 200 hydromorphone pills.
A 19-year-old from North York and a 56-year-old from Orillia were charged with weapons and drug offences including possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order. The teen was also charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
A 62-year-old of no fixed address was charged with drug trafficking.
