Oro Medonte man collects more than $243,000 in Lotto Max cash

Some extra pocket money for a 45-year-old Oro Medonte man.
John Lloyd, a father, soon-to-be grandfather, and part-time lottery player, won $243, 296.70 (second prize) in the July 16 Lotto Max draw.

Lloyd said he scanned the ticket several times because he couldn’t believe it was true. “I’m still feeling shock! I don’t think the excitement will set in until the cheque clears the bank.”
He’ll put the money toward a property up north.
