#OroMedonte Strong Community Campaign is launched

The Township wants to share the positive stories happening throughout the community

There is good news to be found despite these unprecedented times because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Oro-Medonte Township wants those stories to be shared. The Township has created #OroMedonteStrong and encourages residents to let others know about positive stories that are happening throughout the community.

“It is so important that right now, we stay connected as a community and support one another. We all need to practice safe physical distancing, encourage one another, and be kind. A great way to do this is by sharing positive stories about what is happening with our businesses, and in our neighbourhoods,” said Harry Hughes, Mayor of Oro-Medonte. “Raise each other up, and look for opportunities to provide strength during these trying times. Oro-Medonte is strong and we look forward to the community working together.”

The Township wants people to share stories and photos. To have your photo story featured, tag #OroMedonteStrong on Facebook and Twitter, or email your story.
