Out-of-towners charged after evacuation at Barrie Hotel

Two Brampton women have been charged after a floor at the Comfort Inn on Hart Drive in Barrie had to be evacuated.

Barrie Police say a bear spray-like substance was discharged into the air on the second floor of the hotel.

Barrie Firefighters were called in to help clear the air.

No one was hurt.

The women have been charged with Mischief over $5,000, Assault with a Weapon, and Administering a Noxious Substance.
