Casting is underway for a Madonna biopic, and Julia Garner has been tapped to play the “Queen of Pop.”
Garner, well known for her role as Ruth Langmore in “Ozark,” and Anna Delvey in “Inventing Anna” is the frontrunner to star in the film.
Nothing is official, but reports say Garner’s people are looking over the deal and will probably accept.
The universal pictures film will follow Madonna in the early days of her career.
Madonna herself is working very closely to the project serving as Director.
The film's timeline and other details are not known.
