Every year around this time, you might be enjoying the beach, see a bunch of paddleboarders floating by decked out all in pink, and wonder "What was that all about?". Well, wonder no longer, because Paddle 4 the Cure is back and raising money for the Canadian Cancer Society!
The Canadian Cancer Society is the only national charity that supports all Canadians living with all cancers across the country. They fund ground-breaking cancer research into all types of cancer, offer support services to help people better manage life with cancer, shape health policies to prevent cancer and support those living with the disease, and offer trusted cancer information for everyone.
Paddle 4 the Cure is on right now through August 29th and they need your help to hit their $20,000 goal (they're already 80% of the way there!). If you're joining in on the fun, be sure to use the hashtag #paddle4thecure2021 and post lots of pictures. The best dressed individual and team will both win a prize!
