Some illegal plates were just the tip of the iceberg for South Simcoe Police.
Around 12:30 Monday morning, officers came across a vehicle on Holland Street in Bradford with what officers claim were illegal plates. The plates were seized and police continued to monitor the vehicle.
Around 2:30 p.m., two men were located in the vehicle; police say it appears one of them passed out in the driver’s seat. Drug paraphernalia and suspected cocaine were also spotted in the vehicle, according to police. Both were taken into custody.
A 46-year-old Holland Landing man is facing charges including impaired driving and drug possession. A 35-year-old Newmarket man will answer to similar charges.
