Park On the Boulevard In Orillia? Sure You Can, But…
You need to heed the rules
There’s no parking on many city streets during the winter months…for obvious reasons.
But in Orillia, residents are allowed to park on the boulevard – the space between the sidewalk and the roadway on some streets.
There are rules for this, however.
“The City of Orillia wants to provide residents with the opportunity to use their driveway to its full capacity for parking; however, parking within the boulevard cannot interfere with sightlines for drivers and the ability for staff to carry out winter operations such as sidewalk clearing and snow plowing.”

Council approved a by-law amendment to allow parking in the boulevard in June 2018.
