and all you need is your phone
Mobile Party games
With a ban on gatherings of more than five people, we know you can't have a party (and no one should be having one) but if you have a household with a few people in it, we wanted to give you some fun party games you can play to past the time and have some fun.

With a ban on gatherings of more than five people, we know you can't have a party (and no one should be having one) but if you have a household with a few people in it, we wanted to give you some fun party games you can play to past the time and have some fun.

Spaceteam

Spaceteam is a hilarious cooperative game that has a group of players trying to fly a spaceship by relaying time-sensitive instructions to one another. Each player's phone gets a different panel with controls like "Repulsor locator", "Shockcrane", and other gibberish along with instructions they must relay to another player. It gets hectic pretty quickly with players yelling things like "adjust Volatile Flushclamp to four!". It's free and you can download it right now.

Heads Up!

Heads Up! is an updated version of Charades you can play with your phone. A player puts the phone up to their forehead and other players have to give clues or act out what they see on the screen for the person to guess. There are a number of different free categories like movies and tv with additional decks available starting at $1.

Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes!

This one you can play with your phone but also works with mobile VR devices like Google's cardboard VR. One player has a bomb in front of them with wires, buttons, and all sorts of other things on it and another team of players must relay instruction on how to defuse the bomb. Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes! tests your teamwork and is an absolute blast. You can buy it for $11.99 on most mobile devices.

Bounden

Bounden is a unique mobile dancing game for two. Each player holds one side of a phone and the interface guides you through a series of movements to twist, twirl, and entangle you and your partner. This game is a ton of fun but actually teaches you how to (somewhat) dance too! It's available on most mobile devices for $2.99

Psych!

If you've ever played the board game Fibbage than you already know how to play Psych!. The object of the game is to make up fake answers to trivia questions that you think will fool the other players into thinking they are real. This one also has a number of free options but you can purchase additional decks starting at $1.
