Pedestrian struck and killed by vehicle in Bradford

South Simcoe Police say an 88-year-old Bradford resident was struck and killed by a vehicle on Monday afternoon.

Around 2:20 p.m., police were alerted that a female pedestrian had been hit by a northbound vehicle at Sideroad 10 south of Line 8 in Bradford. When officers arrived on the scene, they located the victim who was pronounced dead.

The investigation is ongoing, police said, and no further information is available.
