
A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a pickup truck in Collingwood.
Around 1 p.m. on Monday, provincial police said they responded to a report of a pedestrian being hit by a northbound pickup truck on High Street between Second Street and Third Street. Police said the driver of the truck remained on scene.
The pedestrian, a 69-year-old Collingwood man, was transported to a local hospital and later transferred to a Toronto-area hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
