Peel cops save boy dangling from Mississauga apartment window

The mother grabbed her son by his hand and t-shirt

A group of Peel cops are being hailed as heroes for rescuing a seven-year-old boy who was dangling from a sixth-floor apartment window in Mississauga on Friday evening.

Police said the child was playing near the window when he slipped out.

The mother grabbed the boy by the hand and his t-shirt but she started to lose her grip. Police had to break down the door to get into the unit. They were able to rescue the youngster. A couple of the cops needed stitches after they were cut by broken glass.
