Southern Georgian Bay OPP say a body has been recovered from Georgian Bay off Huronia Park in Penetanguishene.
In a release this morning, they said the body of a 12-year-old male was located Sunday evening around 7:17 p.m.
According to OPP, the boy went missing while swimming at the park.
"The investigation into the cause of death will continue by the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service," OPP added.

A search of Georgian Bay is underway by first responders for a 12-year-old boy who went missing while swimming at a public beach in Penetanguishene on Sunday.
According to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), a 911 call was received around noon by emergency services requesting assistance in locating a youth who was last seen swimming at Huronia Park and became lost from view.
The OPP including the marine unit, as well as the Penetanguishene Fire Department, immediately began a search on land and in the water.
The search continues this evening and police have asked the public to avoid the area.
Anyone who was in the vicinity of Huronia Park on Fox Street near Broad Street today, or anyone who lives in the area and may have surveillance video, is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
