Penetanguishene suggests booking an appointment when Town Hall and other facilities reopen Monday

No marriage ceremonies at Town Hall just yet, but licences available now

Come Monday, there will be more open doors at Town of Penetanguishene facilities.

As of June 27, the Town says it will be reopening Town Hall along with the Public Works Administration Building and the Penetanguishene Fire Hall to the public. All locations will be closed from noon to 1 p.m. every day to allow for a proper cleaning and to allow staff a lunch break.

Those entering any of these facilities are being asked to make an appointment, while one is required for any Planning and Development Department service, including applying for building permits or to speak to by-law staff. Appointments for Planning and Development Services can be made by calling (705) 549-2673.

Although Penetanguishene Town Hall is not yet performing marriage ceremonies, it is under consideration. Marriage licences are now available through Town Hall, as are Commission of Oath services.
