A late-night RIDE check on Highway 12 in Tay Township led to impaired driving charges after OPP say a driver tried to dodge the checkpoint.
OPP say it happened around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday when officers spotted a vehicle approaching the spot check, then suddenly make a three-point turn to avoid it.
Police say the vehicle headed eastbound in the westbound lanes of Highway 12 before officers stopped it at the intersection of Ogden Beach Road.
