Pickup slams into Bradford McDonald’s, driver flees scene
Debris left by fail to remain driver at Bradford McDonalds - South Simcoe Police

South Simcoe Police are looking for a fail-to-remain driver after bits and pieces of a vehicle were left Sunday morning at McDonald's in Bradford.

Officers say a black 2021 or 2022 Ram 1500 appears to have left Holland Street West, travelled over the sidewalk, and struck the restaurant before the driver fled the scene.

The suspect vehicle will have “significant front driver’s-side damage and likely some minor damage to the passenger side mid-level.” Several pieces of the truck were left behind, including the front driver’s-side fender, a headlight assembly, and part of the bumper cover. Investigators note the recovered components contain “unique manufacturing data” that could help identify the vehicle.

Police are asking anyone with information, dashcam or surveillance footage, or anyone who spots a black Ram 1500 with fresh damage to come forward. The driver is also being urged to contact South Simcoe Police.
