Barrie police are asking the public to keep their eyes peeled for a white pickup truck they say plowed into a parked car at a residence on Marsellus Drive and then fled the scene.

This happened on January 3 around 10:25 a.m.

Police say the truck driver was travelling too fast for the conditions.

Police add that a white-coloured Tesla slowly driving in the area at the time of the crash passed the truck as it was stopped briefly and may have video that can assist investigators.

"The pickup should have damage to the passenger side of the truck's bed," police added.
